Catfish Hox Is a Locally Owned Mom & Pop located In East Cobb Georgia. Our idea began while Phil (Owner, Executive Chef) was a United States Marine Crew Chief. He was sent to combat 3 times, and on his final return home from war he was determined to open his very own FRESH Southern Food Restaurant with a Cajun Twist. With the help of his wife Vivian who has a strong background in Business & Marketing they opened Catfish Hox In Marietta, GA September 2016.
Chef Phil trained with Japanese Chef's at the age of 14, and joined the United States Marines in 2001. Chef Phil's Culinary Mastery has earned him honorable mentions in the AJC, The Atlanta Magazine & Taste Of Marietta's Best Seafood Dish Winner 2018 & 2019. Catfish Hox was featured in Southern Living Magazine as one of the BEST Catfish Restaurants in the South. We were named dish of the week in the AJC with our 2 Time Award Winning Tomahawk Taco’s that won Taste Of Marietta 2 Years in a ROW. Recently highlighted on Atlanta Eats TV for Veteran Owned Businesses.
Catfish Hox was awarded the Golden Spatula Award by CBS46's Adam Murphy, and voted best American Restaurant By Next-door Neighbor 2019.
Catfish Hox Is a Ghost Kitchen Offering Drive Thru Take-Out & Delivery Tuesday-Thursday from 4:00-8pm & Friday.
